Twitter has apparently shut off its inside communication system Slack and staff posted on nameless office chat app Blind that the corporate had stopped paying its Slack payments.

A Slack spokesperson confirmed that the corporate didn’t deactivate Twitter’s workspace or person accounts. Slack not often shuts down providers for upkeep.

“We didn’t pay our Slack invoice. Now everyone seems to be barely working. Penny smart, pound silly,” wrote a Twitter worker.

Another called the disappearance of Slack the “proverbial final straw.” Twitter didn’t instantly touch upon the report.

Meanwhile, the platform was down for a number of customers for a few minutes on Friday, and practically 55 per cent of customers reported issues accessing the platform from cell.

The outage was temporary and the providers have been restored after a while.
