In separate incidents, two migrant employees have been overwhelmed to loss of life by locals in Gujarat, over suspicion of them being thieves.
The deceased have been from Nepal and Chhattisgarh. The incidents occurred in Ahmedabad and Kheda districts.
As per particulars, the primary incident occurred close to outer Ahmedabad when a migrant labourer from Nepal was thrashed to loss of life by native villagers, who mistook him to be a thief.
After the brutal killing, his physique was thrown into a close-by canal. The deceased was recognized as 35-year-old Kulman Gagan who had obtained a job in the Changodar space of Ahmedabad district.
As he was strolling, stray canine chased him first and native residents assumed that he was a thief operating away. When caught, he couldn’t clarify attributable to language barrier and frenzied crowd inhumanly thrashed him to loss of life.
His physique was discovered from the canal by the police, who lodged a case and 10 folks have been arrested in reference to the case.
In one other incident, native villagers killed a migrant labourer mistaking him for a thief in a village in Kheda district.
