French videogame writer Ubisoft Entertainment SA mentioned it is investigating “an alleged data security incident” after reviews on social media that it was hacked.
“We are aware of an alleged data security incident and are currently investigating,” a Ubisoft spokesman mentioned late Saturday in a textual content message.
An account on X that tracks malware reported in a publish earlier within the day that Ubisoft’s programs had been compromised for 48 hours starting on Thursday.
