Unable to pay school price, Class 12 student shoots himself dead in UP’s Shahjahanpur
A Class 12 student allegedly dedicated suicide in this Uttar Pradesh district as he was “upset” over his father’s failure to pay his school price, police stated on Thursday.
Anup Kumar (18) shot himself with a country-made pistol on Wednesday, after his father advised him that he couldn’t organize the cash for his school price, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mahendra Kumar stated.

The deceased’s father, Parmeshwar Dayal, who works as a labourer, advised the police that two months in the past, his son had requested for Rs 8,000 to pay his school price. On Wednesday, he once more requested his father concerning the cash.
The physique of the deceased has been despatched for autopsy, the police stated.Â
