Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), April 7 (IANS) A 26-year-old married man was allegedly set on fireplace for stalking a lady within the Bahedi space of Bareilly.

The sufferer has been admitted to a personal hospital in a essential situation, mentioned police.

According to police reviews, the person was reportedly in a relationship with the girl however when she learnt that he was married, she ended the connection.

The sufferer, nevertheless, continued to stalk her and on Monday evening, he tried to enter her home.

The girl informed the police that the person set himself afire after she refused to satisfy him.

Bareilly Senior Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan mentioned, “We were informed by a caller that the man had set himself afire. Immediately, a police team was sent to the village and the victim was rushed to a hospital.

“The incident passed off outdoors the home of a 20-year-old girl, who is claimed to be his ex-girlfriend. The man and his brother claimed that he was set on fireplace by the lady’s father and brother. The allegation is denied by the lady and her household.”
