A complete of 3,33,541 candidates, or 16.20 per cent, remained absent in each shifts.

“Exams for High School Hindi and Elementary Hindi subject and for Intermediate Military Science subject were conducted in the first shift, while in the second shift, commerce exam for High School and Hindi and general Hindi exam for Intermediate took place,” UP Board Secretary, Dibyakant Shukla mentioned as quoted by Times of India.

On the primary day of the High School (Class 10) examination, 5 candidates have been caught utilizing unfair means, 4 boys and one woman.
