Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday mentioned the Uttar Pradesh authorities’s “lie” that there is no Covid-19 spread in villages is proving to be “very deadly” for the agricultural areas. He claimed that there is a shortage of fever medicines in villages, not to mention oxygen and hospital beds.
For days now, Uttar Pradesh has figured among the many 10 greatest contributors to India’s Covid-19 tally. According to an official assertion, the state recorded 29,192 recent Covid-19 circumstances on Monday that pushed its tally to 13,42,413 whereas 288 extra fatalities took the demise toll to 13,447. “The unfold of coronavirus in villages is a matter of nice concern. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed officers to begin giant scale Covid-19 testing in rural areas from May 5 in view of the rising variety of circumstances in villages following the not too long ago concluded panchayat polls.
