A person was arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating a teenage lady and throwing their new child child in a forest space right here, police stated. The 17-year-old survivor lodged a grievance at Deoband police station in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, alleging that she was raped a number of instances by one Salman, who had promised to marry her.
The accused allegedly threw the lady born 4 days in the past in a forest space and threatened the teenager of dire penalties if she knowledgeable anybody concerning the act, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rural, Suraj Rai stated.
An FIR has been registered in opposition to Salman beneath IPC part 376 (rape), 377 (sodomy) and POCSO Act, police stated.
The new child was recovered by a farmer and is now being handled at a hospital, Rai stated.
The child will probably be handed over to the baby welfare committee, police stated.
