Digital payments by the favored UPI platform had been impacted on Tuesday night due to some banks’ systems going through a glitch, the National Payments Corporation of India stated.
“Regret inconvenience on UPI connectivity as few of the banks are having some internal technical issues,” the NPCI stated on X.
NPCI added that its systems are “working fine” and it’s working with the impacted banks to guarantee fast decision.

Largest personal sector lender HDFC Bank admitted its clients had been amongst these impacted.
