RBI Raises UPI Payments Limit To Healthcare, Educational Units From Rs 1 Lakh To Rs 5 Lakh.
RBI decides to boost the UPI transaction restrict for funds to healthcare and academic services to Rs 5 lakh, from the present Rs 1 lakh
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday determined to boost the UPI transaction restrict for funds to healthcare models like hospitals and academic services like faculties and faculties to Rs 5 lakh, from the present Rs 1 lakh. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Friday additionally introduced new limits for e-mandates for recurring funds.
As a part of the choice on e-mandates, the RBI has proposed to extend the restrict for further issue authentication (AFA) to Rs 1 lakh, for mutual fund investments, insurance coverage and bank card repayments. Till now, funds above Rs 15,000 require AFA.
