New Delhi: A deputy tehsildar in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh has landed in authorized bother after he transformed to Islam following his marriage to a Muslim lady. A photograph of him studying namaz in a mosque went viral on social media and sparked an issue within the district. Later, his photograph studying namaz went viral and the locals acknowledged him as Ashish Gupta, the deputy tehsildar of Maudaha tehsil.
