Tyson Foods recollects hen nuggets because of steel items discovered, affecting customers in a number of US states. Safety recall by the meat processor
US-based meat processor Tyson Foods is recalling round 13,608 kilograms of hen nuggets after steel items had been discovered within the product. “Tyson Brand is voluntarily recalling approximately 30,000 pounds of frozen, fully cooked chicken Fun Nuggets,” the corporate mentioned in a press release on November 4.
“This includes Tyson Brand fully cooked Fun Nuggets sold to retailers in 29-ounce packages. No other Tyson brand products are affected.” The nuggets with a “best if used by date” of September 4, 2024, and had been offered within the US states of Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
“A limited number of consumers have reported they found small, pliable metal pieces in the product, and out of an abundance of caution, the company is recalling this product,” the assertion added.
