Prime Minister Modi stated the Quad group of countries “will work together closely as ever before for advancing shared values and promoting secular, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific”.

“I see this positive vision as an extension of India’s ancient philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which regards the world as one family,” he added.

The leaders mentioned regional and international problems with shared curiosity and exchanged views on sensible areas of cooperation in direction of sustaining a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific area.

An Indo-Pacific alliance ‘Quad’ held its first assembly which was attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.
