Uttar Pradesh to add Sanskrit as mandatory subject for basic schooling

Lucknow: The Basic Education Department Uttar Pradesh has included Sanskrit as a subject within the major schooling syllabus. The syllabus of the subject Sanskrit for class first reportedly includes of 5 small picturized classes.

On the opposite hand, for college students in school II, the syllabus features a four-line rhyme and Sanskrit numbers up to 5.

The syllabus additionally contains names of fruits, greens, totally different occupations together with the names of relations in Sanskrit.

Earlier, the subject was included from class third onwards however now over twenty lakh college students of sophistication first and second may also examine the Sanskrit language in Uttar Pradesh.
