Illuminate, a joint initiative by L&T Technology Services (LTTS) and the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru can be launched in Mysuru on Saturday February 11 on the Karnataka State Open University convocation corridor at 10.30 a.m. The occasion is a first-of-its-kind initiative by the corporate and the engineering institute. It will concentrate on nurturing engineering excellence amongst younger college students, engineering professionals and the broader viewers.
Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, popularly often called the ‘Moon Man of India’, and Sudhanshu Mani, who led the group of engineers that designed the Vande Bharat Express, would be the lead audio system on the inaugural version.
Illuminate will concentrate on shedding new gentle on thrilling engineering eventualities, and is visualised as a shared platform for gathering, highlighting, and showcasing technical insights from some of the main practitioners who’re reshaping the worldwide engineering panorama.
The NIE is ranked amongst the highest engineering schools in India. It has established 14 Centres of Excellence (CoE) in collaboration with the business and alumni to enrich analysis and consultancy actions for making the course curriculum extra significant with modern instructing strategies.

Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai is credited with driving India’s ventures to the moon (Chandrayaan-1) and Mars (Mangalyaan). He is an internationally acclaimed scientist with a profession spanning over 36 years.
Sudhanshu Mani, the designing mind behind the Vande Bharat Express prepare, was instrumental in making certain supply inside a brief length of about 18 months. He has had a profession of 38 years with Indian Railways.
