The UN rights chief stated Friday that violence was escalating throughout Myanmar, warning that the nation had plunged into a “human rights disaster” since a February 1 coup.
“In just over four months, Myanmar has gone from being a fragile democracy to a human rights catastrophe,” Michelle Bachelet stated in a assertion, saying the navy management was “singularly accountable” for the disaster.
