Violent Clash Erupts Between 2 Groups In Maharashtra’s Akola, Section 144 Imposed | India News


Akola: A violent conflict erupted between two teams over a minor dispute within the Old City police station space of Maharashtra’s Akola on Saturday night, the police mentioned. A video purportedly confirmed members of the 2 teams pelting stones at one another, damaging autos and creating ruckus on the streets. However, officers mentioned that the scenario is underneath management now.

The incident prompted the administration to subject prohibitory order underneath Section 144 of CrPC. “Following the violent clashes Section 144 has been imposed in the city,” Akola Collector Neema Arora mentioned.

According to police, the violent mob has broken some Vehicles. Reportedly, a big crowd marched on the Old City police station after a violent incident arose after a minor dispute. The violent mob focused some autos within the space and the police have began utilizing power to convey the scenario underneath management, official sources mentioned. Akola SP Sandeep Ghuge mentioned that the scenario is at present underneath management. “Section 144 Prohibition Order has been imposed in Akola city on the order of District Collector,” he mentioned.

This is the second such incident reported in Akola. A number of days in the past, there was a violent conflict between two teams in Shankar Nagar locality of Akot File space.
