Ex-Indian opening batsman, Virender Sehwag is known for his notorious tweets and social media stunts. He has six million followers on Instagram, while a whopping 21.5 million followers on Twitter. Cricket fans around the world are entertained by Viru’s social media posts. Recently, he posted a video on Instagram on Saturday. The video is from the Cricket All Stars tournament which was organized in the USA. The series featured two lineups of retired cricket players from around the world, led by cricket icons – Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne. Sehwag was part of Sachin’s team.
In the video which he posted on Instagram, Sehwag is on strike and facing a ball by South African legendary bowler Allan Donald. In a very casual and coy manner, he is seen singing a famous hindi song right at the time when Donald is coming in to bowl. Sachin Tendulkar can be seen at the non-striker end. The entire episode looks hilarious as Sehwag sings ‘Kaise Bataey Kyu Tujho Chahein’, a song from the film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Things become funnier as Sehwag is not only able to concentrate on the delivery, but also able to hit it out of the park.
The 42-year old wrote: “While batting most often it felt like I am performing a concert, but only for myself. Life mein apne rules ke saath mast rehte chalo.. zindagi ki dhun mein gaate chalo. What is your favourite song #singing #bathroomsinger #life”
