Telangana: A court in Warangal on Thursday granted bail to Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was arrested in a case associated to class X query paper leak. He was requested to furnish two surety bonds of Rs 20,000/- every. The BJP chief is about to be launched tomorrow (Friday).

Following his arrest on Wednesday, he had moved a bail software in the court. Sanjay Kumar is a Lok Sabha MP from Karimnagar constituency. According to studies, he was picked up by a group of police from his residence in Karimnagar metropolis and was initially put beneath preventive arrest, triggering protests by his social gathering employees. 

“A bail software was moved final evening in a Warangal Court. It is anticipated to be heard immediately. Also, there was a habeas corpus petition filed in the Telangana High Court.


That additionally would come up for listening to immediately,” BJP chief and advocate Rachana Reddy instructed the media. 

Telangana BJP chief named as prime accused in case

About the case

According to Warangal Police Commissioner AV Ranganath, Sanjay Kumar conspired with an intention to create rumours and provoke a breach of peace of the continued SSC public examination in Telangana state after photos of two query papers surfaced in social media, to defame the federal government for the circulation to create concern amongst college students and their dad and mom thereby to defame the duly elected state authorities.
