The Kuttamperoor river, a tributary of the Pampa and Achencoil rivers, died a sluggish demise round 2005 because of years of waste dumping, encroachments and different actions.
Today, it’s transformed.
The 100-metre broad river shrunk to lower than 15 metres at many areas, and this resulted in wells drying up in a number of locations.
The preliminary effort to revive the river was made in 2011, nevertheless it took one other 5 years to get the venture rolling.
