New Delhi: The Election Commission of India banned roadshows and automobile rallies being held within the West Bengal election, hours after the section 6 polling ended on Thursday.
EC has withdrawn the permissions it had given for holding these rallies earlier. It famous “with anguish” that many political events/candidates usually are not adhering to prescribed security norms throughout public gatherings.
