‘We Are Not Safe…’: Mamata Banerjee Blames BJP For Threatening Her, Nephew Abhishek | India News


New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made critical accusations in opposition to the BJP, claiming that she and her nephew, TMC nationwide normal secretary Abhishek Banerjee, are being focused and really feel threatened. She mentioned, “The BJP is focusing on me and Abhishek; we’re not secure.”  

These allegations got here a day after an announcement by the Leader of Opposition within the meeting, Suvendu Adhikari, who hinted that there could be a “big explosion on Monday that will shake the TMC and its top brass,” reported PTI.  

“But we are also not afraid of the saffron party’s conspiracy. We urge everyone to be on guard against a conspiracy against TMC leaders and the people of West Bengal,” she mentioned at a rally in help of social gathering candidate and state minister Biplab Mitra for the Balurghat Lok Sabha seat in Kumarganj.  

In response to Adhikari’s comment, the TMC chief conveyed that there’s a person who has aligned with the BJP purportedly to safeguard his household and purchase belongings. She asserted that his suggestion of instigating a “chocolate bomb explosion” was regarded with disdain by her social gathering.  

She emphasised that the social gathering would expose the irregularities within the PM Care Fund and the unfulfilled promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh into every citizen’s checking account. She accused him of disseminating misinformation.  

Banerjee additional commented on the alteration within the color scheme of the Doordarshan emblem, indicating that each one of those have been completed to go well with the social gathering’s agenda throughout he election. She mentioned, “Why did the DD logo suddenly turn saffron? Why were the official residences of army personnel painted in saffron? Why was the uniform of police in Kashi (Varanasi) changed to saffron?” It represents yet one more occasion of the BJP’s authoritarian governance. Should they regain energy, future elections could stop to exist, she added.
