HARROGATE, England: Rebecca Welch turned the primary feminine referee to officiate an English mens skilled league sport on Monday, and the managers of the groups concerned have been stuffed with reward for her efficiency.
The 37-year-old Welch took cost of Port Vales 2-0 win over Harrogate within the fourth tier.
She is on FIFAs worldwide record and has twice been referee for the Womens FA Cup remaining, in 2017 and 2020. She took up refereeing 11 years in the past.
