West Bengal Assembly polls: Union Home Minister Amit Shah to hold six public programs today

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to deal with six public programs in poll-bound West Bengal on Sunday (April 11).

The Home Minister will deal with three roadshows, one public gathering and two city corridor conferences within the state. The senior BJP chief will perform a roadshow in Santipur at 12:20 PM. The second roadshow might be held in Ranaghat Dakshin at 1:30 PM. 

Shah will then deal with a public assembly in Basirhat Dakshin at 3:40 PM, whereas the fourth occasion might be a roadshow in Panihati at 04:25 PM. Post that, the Home Minister is slated to deal with two city corridor conferences.

One Town Hall Meeting might be organized in Kamarhati at 5:30 PM. While at 7:00 PM, he’ll perform one other city corridor assembly in Rajarhat Gopalpur. 

The fourth section of voting concluded for 44 constituencies on Saturday with 76.16 per cent voter turnout recorded until 6 pm, as per the Election Commission information. 

The fifth section of West Bengal elections for 45 meeting seats might be held on April 17. The eighth and remaining spherical of elections is scheduled for April 29. The counting of votes will happen on May 2.
