Kolkata: Owing to the rising instances of Coronavirus, West Bengal authorities on Thursday introduced extension of lockdown within the state until June 15 with the intention to comprise the an infection. 

The announcement was made by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the continuing lockdown in West Bengal was supposed to finish of May 30.
