Will commodity market remain opened on Eid-uL-Fitr, Ram Navami? Check details

The inventory markets will remain closed on the event of Eid-uL-Fitr and Ram Navami on Thursday (April 11) and subsequent Wednesday (April 17) respectively. But, based on the regularity, the commodity market will remain open for the night buying and selling session from 5 pm to 11.30 pm (MCX & NSE). 

Meanwhile, Forex and cash markets remained closed on Tuesday on account of the ‘Gudhipadwa’ competition, nevertheless, the inventory market remained open yesterday. 

According to the BSE web site (bseindia.com), the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty will maintain a full-day vacation on April 11 2024  on the competition – Id-Ul-Fitr. And the second vacation on this month for the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty will likely be on April 17, 2024 on the event of Ram Navami.  

When will buying and selling on the NSE and BSE resume?

The home inventory market will resume buying and selling usually on Friday, April 12 at 9:15 am. According to the BSE and NSE web sites, the buying and selling will begin after a fifteen-minute pre-opening session beginning at 9:00 am.

Is MCX closed on Eid-uL-Fitr? 

Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain closed for the morning on Thursday (on Eid-uL-Fitr), however it is going to resume in night periods. MCX holds buying and selling from 9:00 am to five:00 pm. It resumes buying and selling once more from 5:00 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm.
