Will Jitin get ‘prasada’ from BJP? Kapil Sibal questions Congress leader’s switch
Senior Congress chief Kapil Sibal has mentioned that there should be some cause behind Jitin Prasada’s choice to stop the get together and be a part of the ranks with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“I am not against what Jitin Prasada did as there must be some reason which hasn’t been disclosed, but joining BJP is something I cannot understand,” Sibal, one of many G-23 (group of dissident) members, mentioned.
“It shows we are moving from ‘Aaya Ram Gaya Ram’ to ‘Prasada’ politics, jahan prasad mile, you join that party,” he added.
Sibal and others had written to Sonia Gandhi earlier calling for sweeping reforms within the get together after 2019 normal elections debacle.
When requested about whether or not he may be a part of the BJP, Sibal replied: “I’ll by no means in my life… I’ve opposed (BJP) since my start as a politician.”
