Kolkata: Veteran Trinamool Congress MP Sisir Adhikari met BJP chief Mansukh Mandviya on Saturday resulting in the potential for him attending Amit Shah’s rally at Egra in Purba Medinipur immediately.

BJP’s Mansukh Mandviya visited Sisir Adhikari at his residence to ask him to Shah’s Egra rally together with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s March 24 public assembly at Kanthi in Purba Medinapur.

Confirming the invitation from BJP high brass, Sisir’s son and TMC MP Dibyendu Adhikari instructed reporters, “We have spoken to the BJP leadership. We will take the final decision about whether to attend or not tomorrow morning”.
