New Delhi: Whatsapp informed the Delhi High Court on Friday that till the data protection bill comes into power, it might not compel users to go for its new privacy policy because it has been placed on maintain.

Whatsapp additionally clarified earlier than bench of Chief justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh that it might not restrict the performance for users who should not choosing new privacy policy within the meantime.

Appearing for the immediate messaging platform, Senior Advocate Harish Salve stated, “We voluntarily agreed to put it (the policy) on hold… We will not compel people to accept.”
