Several left wing commerce unions held a rally in New Delhi in Ramlila floor on Wednesday with tons of of employees and farmers in a present of solidarity towards the BJP-led Central Government’s alleged disregard of their fundamental wants and lack of livelihoods.
The Masdoor-Kisan Sangarsh rally was held by the Centre of Trade Unions (CITU), All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS), and All India Agricultural Workers Union (AIAWU).
The leaders talking at the rally warned the federal government that the rally was a sign of the surging anger of the employees of the nation, an official assertion from the collective mentioned.
Hundreds of employees, farmers, and agricultural employees from completely different components of the nation, together with Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Gujarat, participated within the rally, the assertion mentioned.
The employees demanded from the federal government policies that enable entry to schooling, healthcare, and a dignified life for them and their youngsters, it mentioned.
“The rally was addressed by the leaders of the CITU, AIKS and AIAWU and others. They warned the government that the rally was an indication of the surging anger of the working people of this country against the disregard of their basic needs while showering benefits on the big corporate,” the assertion added.
