Yogi govt to take care of upbringing, education of children orphaned due to Covid

Under the ‘Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana’, the Yogi authorities will present monetary help to a toddler’s guardian whereas those that should not have anybody to take care of them will probably be despatched to children’s properties.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday launched a welfare scheme for children who’ve misplaced both one or each dad and mom to COVID-19.

Launching the scheme right here, Adityanath stated the state authorities will take care of the upbringing and education of children orphaned by COVID-19.

A minor woman baby will probably be housed in Kasturba Gandhi Girls (residential) Schools run by the federal government of India or children’s properties (ladies) run by the state authorities. Currently, there are 13 such children’s properties within the state.

The spokesperson stated there are 197 children within the state who’ve misplaced each their dad and mom to COVID-19.
