Bengaluru: A Bengaluru-based woman alleged {that a} delivery executive of Zomato assaulted her after a heated argument which has left her with a fractured nasal bone. The woman who works as a content material creator and a make-up artist, narrated her ordeal in a video she shared on social media.
Hitesha stated that on March 9, a Zomato delivery executive attacked her after she confronted him over the delay within the delivery of her order. Further, she stated that the delivery executive barged into her residence and abused her as properly.

In the video, Hitesha says that she positioned an order at 3.30 pm on March 9, which was speculated to be delivered by 4.30 pm, however since she didn’t obtain her order on time she requested them to both waive off the costs for the order or cancel the order.
When the delivery executive got here, she requested him to attend which is when he allegedly began abusing her. She stated the executive pushed the door, took the order from the desk and punched her on the face in order that she doesn’t get again at him, and ran away.
Zomato has additionally responded to the accusations saying, “Hey Hitesha, thank you for speaking to us, we can assure you this is not the experience our delivery universe stands for. In a press release Zomato stated, “We deeply remorse this incident and apologise to Hitesha for this traumatic expertise. We are in contact together with her and are offering our full help by the mandatory medical care and investigation. Meanwhile, we now have delisted the delivery companion from our platform.”
While, a case has been registered with Electronic City PS underneath IPC sections 323, 325 and 504, the delivery boy has been arrested.
