Zomato should find out truth, penalise the woman if delivery man Kamaraj is innocent, says Parineeti Chopra

NEW DELHI: Actress Parineeti Chopra on Saturday opened up on the current Zomato assault incident and expressed her considerations for delivery man Kamaraj, who is accused of bodily assault by a feminine buyer. The actress requested Zomato to uncover the reality in the assault accusations in opposition to the delivery individual by Hitesha Chandranee, a Zomato buyer, including that the accused should pay for the ache if discovered responsible. 

Parineeti took to Twitter and wrote, “Zomato India – PLEASE find and publicly report the truth.. If the gentleman is innocent (and I believe he is), PLEASE help us penalise the woman in question. This is inhuman, shameful and heartbreaking .. Please let me know how I can help.. #ZomatoDeliveryGuy.”

Her followers showered praises on for expressing her views on the controversial case as an influential determine. The incident she’s referring to is the case of Hitesha Chandranee, a Bengaluru woman, who accused a Zomato delivery government of bodily assault which resulted in her nostril bleeding. The woman who works as a content material creator and a make-up artist, narrated her ordeal in a video she shared on social media. Hitesha mentioned that on March 9, a Zomato delivery government attacked her after she confronted him over the delay in the delivery of her order. Further, she mentioned that the delivery government barged into her house and abused her as nicely.

She had first spoken about the incident in a video on social media which rapidly went viral. In the video, she is seen narrating the incident with an injured nostril. However, Kamaraj refuted the allegations and claimed that she was the one who assaulted him. 

In an interview with The News Minute, Kamaraj, who has been suspended by the firm after the criticism, alleged that he pushed the woman in self-defence and he or she obtained a nostril harm from her finger ring. It is to be famous that hours after Chandranee shared the video, Kamaraj was arrested by the Bengaluru Police however was later granted conditional bail.

Zomato promptly responded to the incident with an apology and introduced that the delivery companion was delisted from their platform.
