Delhi poll body denies ban on AAP campaign song – India TV

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The workplace of the chief electoral officer (CEO), Delhi, has denied the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) declare that the Election Commission had banned its Lok Sabha campaign ‘Jail Ka Jawab, Vote Se Denge’ song. The poll body mentioned that the social gathering has been requested to make modifications as per the principles. 

In response to the AAP utility searching for permission to make use of the song and video, the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) of the workplace raised objections and requested the social gathering to make modifications to its song and resubmit it for certification. AAP submitted the appliance on April 25, and the response was acquired on Saturday.

The AAP, nonetheless, accused the poll body of trying to ban the song in response to a grievance from the BJP.

The AAP launched its Lok Sabha campaign song titled ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ on April 25. The song, written and sung by AAP MLA Dilip Pandey, was launched in Delhi by social gathering leaders throughout an occasion held on the AAP headquarters.  The social gathering’s Lok Sabha campaign has an identical theme and is titled ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’  (we are going to reply to jailing Kejriwal by means of voting).
